Last week, I began to manage my network in LinkedIn, which is highly recommend by my excellent career consultant Steve Singer.
At first, I think I should add in somebody I know who have already have very good network in LinkedIn and then I can be introduced by those people to the other company staff. I added Steve first and then I searched for people in GPO, the second year student in HR or MBA or other programs. Then, I sent a professional message to those people and invited them to have me in their network in LinkedIn. I am so happy that most of them accepted me.
Through these people, I knew some alumni and some employers, some of whom are so nice and gave me very good suggestions.
These days, I am trying to find some HR employees who are working in my favorite companies. I really hope LinkedIncould bring me many good opportunities in my career development.
