April is a busy time here in the Graduate Programs Office. This week we are welcoming some of our admitted students to campus for our annual Red Carpet Admitted Students weekend. If you are an admitted student that is unable to attend or you are just curious about what happens at Red Carpet, be sure to follow us on Twitter at #FisherRedCarpet2013 as we will be live tweeting this weekend!
We will be hosting a Spring Interview Day on Friday, April 12 for applicants who intend to submit by our LAST DEADLINE of the year, April 15! Spring Interview Day gives you a chance to see the campus, conduct your admissions interview and receive an admissions outcome by Tuesday, April 16 if you have submitted your application by the deadline. If you can’t make the deadline, your admissions decision will be communicated as soon we have the chance to review your completed application.
The sun is shining, spring is in the air – time to get motivated and APPLY before it is too late!

For the first time, Military Times surveyed business schools to create a ranking of Best Business Schools for Vets. The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business ranked 6th among 24 ranked schools. We take pride in our commitment to work with veteran applicants and students and believe we have created a community in which military students can thrive.
Did you know that active duty and veteran applicants recieve an application fee waiver to apply to Fisher? Our next (and last!) deadline for the Autumn 2013 semester start is April 15. Apply now!
When you are completing your application to the program, please take note of the transcript instructions. Ohio State requires transcripts from each institutition where you earned credit, even if the name of the institution and courses are listed on your primary transcript. If the name of a college or university is listed on your primary transcript (perhaps from summer school or study abroad, for example), the Graduate Admissions Office at Ohio State will request an official transcript from that institution.
The exception to the rule – if you completed your undergraduate work exclusively at Ohio State, you do not need to request a transcript. We can access that for you.
However, if you studied abroad or did any coursework outside of Ohio State during your time here, we would need you to order those transcripts.

As you might imagine, December is a bit busy here in the Fisher Graduate Programs Office. We have just passed a priority deadline and applicants are anxious to confirm that their materials have been received in time to be considered for admission and for financial aid.
Please keep in mind that there is manual work that has to be done to match your online application with the rest of your application materials, as it does not get updated in “real-time.” Also, note that it takes about 20 days from your test date for us to receive official GMAT scores and 13 days from your test date to receive TOEFL scores.
Please wait at least five business days for your application checklist to be updated to reflect the status of your application materials received by our office.
Note, the Graduate Programs Office will be closed on Monday, December 23, Tuesday, December 24, and Tuesday, January 1.
We wish you a safe and happy holiday season and a happy new year!
