Marketing to Hispanics Workshop
In March, the U.S. Census Bureau reported that the Hispanic population has grown to 50 million in the last decade, an increase of 43 percent. In May, the Marketing to Hispanics workshop at Fisher provided marketers with a better understanding of how firms are addressing this burgeoning consumer market.

The Marketing to Hispanics workshop was organized by the Fisher Association of Marketing Professionals and the Fisher Latino Graduate Association

Leading the workshop was Jim Legg, executive vice president of The San Jose Group, a multicultural marketing and communications firm. He led students through interactive work sessions, a panel discussion, and an overview of the changing demographic landscape of the U.S.

Also attending were representatives from Abbott Nutrition, Nationwide, and White Castle.
