Professor Roy J. Lewicki

Roy Lewicki

Research: Lewicki is a leading scholar in the study of trust development and repair.

Quote: “Trust is the WD-40 of really good relationships. The work that I and many others have been doing is in trying to specify what it takes to build trust and — what I’ve been most interested in over the last few years — how to repair trust once it has been broken.”

Activities: Lewicki presented his work to a range of audiences in the past academic year, including the International Association of Conflict Management conference in Istanbul, Turkey. His work was selected to appear in numerous books, including a chapter written with Fisher PhD student Beth Polin in Restoring Trust: Challenges and Prospects (Oxford University Press). Lewicki is also the founding editor of Academy of Management Learning and Education and a Fellow of the Academy of Management.
