Global Supply Chain Forum Celebrates 15 years

The year 2011 marked the 15th anniversary of Fisher’s Global Supply Chain Forum. The forum brings together senior business executives who are leading practitioners and academics to address the critical issues related to achieving excellence in supply chain management.

Currently, the Global Supply Chain Forum has 14 corporate members that include companies such as Coke, Amazon.com, Campbell’s, and Hewlett-Packard Co.

“We support research focused on real world applications, sharing information across industries and making research widely available through publications and seminars,” said Douglas M. Lambert, director of the forum and the Raymond E. Mason Chair in Transportation and Logistics.

Global Supply Chain by the Numbers:

  • 31 articles published based on forum research
  • Five doctoral dissertations
  • Two books published: Building High-Performance Business Relationships and Supply Chain Management Processes, Partnerships, Performance (now in its third edition; used at 30 universities around the globe)
  • Executive development seminars held on four continents

The forum makes some of its research publications available online to non-members.
