Programs Rise in the Rankings
Fisher’s undergraduate, graduate, and PhD accounting programs received high marks in a nationwide survey of accounting educators.

The 2010 Public Accounting Report, completed by more than 1,700 educators, ranked Fisher’s undergraduate accounting program sixth in the nation — three spots higher than the previous year. The survey also ranked the Master of Accounting program 10th and the doctoral program 10th in teaching and 14th in research. In 2009, Fisher’s PhD program ranked 17th for teaching and 18th in research.

“These rankings reflect our colleagues’ view that we offer high-quality accounting programs and that we have an outstanding faculty. It is nice to know that accounting scholars across the country recognize our faculty’s accomplishments and hold Fisher’s programs in high regard.”

Richard Dietrich, professor and chair of the Department of Accounting and MIS
