Fisher MBA program moves 20 spots in 2 years in Financial Times ranking
Fisher ranked 40th in the United States and 67th globally in the 2010 Financial Times MBA rankings released on Jan. 25, 2010 by the London-based financial newspaper.

In 2008, Fisher was ranked 87th globally by the publication marking a 20-place climb in the survey in the last two years. It was 57th among U.S. schools in 2008 rising 17 places over two years.

Data for the Financial Times rankings were compiled from two main sources: questionnaires sent to the school and alumni who graduated three years ago. According to the publication: “this year a total of 156 business schools met the criteria for participation and completed the school survey provided. Some 21,328 alumni, of the graduating class of 2006, were then asked to complete an alumni survey and just over 8,000 responses were submitted.”

Three main areas are analyzed to create the top 100: alumni salaries and career development; the diversity and international reach of the business school and its MBA program; and the research capabilities of each school.
