BusinessWeek magazine gives Fisher programs top rankings
EMBA 10th Anniversary logoBusinessWeek magazine placed Fisher’s EMBA program 15th in its international rankings, according to the magazine’s Nov. 13 issue.

EMBA program directors and Fisher graduates surveyed for the biennial rankings gave Fisher an “A” in teaching and an “A-plus” in the categories of curriculum and support. EMBA graduates ranked the program fifth.

“With the turbulent economic climate, the needs and requirements of prospective EMBA students are evolving,” said Carol Newcomb, executive director of Fisher Executive Education. “We have responded to their changing needs by designing a program that offers great support services and rigorous coursework, while providing practical theory and experiences that can be immediately applied on the job.”

The EMBA rankings were developed by polling recent graduates and surveying EMBA program directors worldwide. Boston-based Cambria Consulting Inc. helped BusinessWeek survey more than 5,065 graduates from the classes of 2005, 2007 and 2009 at 83 programs, garnering a 58-percent response rate. A poll was sent to 83 EMBA program directors, receiving a response rate of 83-percent.
