Raabe's CDs make sound investments

Tax expert William A. Raabe likes to stay on the cutting edge of tax law,
but he's also on the cutting edge of publishing technology. Not only is his
voice recorded on compact disk recordings of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra,
but his textbooks on tax law are available on CD, as well. Raabe sang with
the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus in its performances of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony,
and on a recording of Lukas Foss compositions. Raabe finds the CD textbooks more
innovative, though, given the ability to hyperlink texts, plus add large amounts
of reference material - essential in the world of tax law, where the code can
fill several volumes. "The disk allows you to page around - it's the ultimate
index," Raabe says, adding "it's a research library, as well."
