I am currently an Associate Professor of Accounting at The Ohio State University.  I teach courses in Nonprofit and Governmental Accounting and Managerial Accounting.

I also write a blog, Counting on Charity, that focuses on how accounting information can inform current issues affecting nonprofits and their donors.  You can access the blog here.

Broadly speaking, my research concerns how accounting affects and is affected by incentives, both within and across organizations.

My current research focus is on four areas:

  1. (i)philanthropy

  2. (ii) disclosure and corporate strategy;

  3. (iii) supply chain coordination; and

  4. (iv) managerial incentives and compensation
