*This game was played because of a recent change in regulations made
made by the Ohio School Athletic Association. Teams may play an
additional scrimmage in a "regular-season" format if the game's net
proceeds are donated to a nonprofit charitable organization. The game's
beneficiary was the MOMM ("Miracle of Mom's Memory') Foundation, led
by Phil Callaghan, DHS alumnus, former DHS athletic director, and
current Dublin Scioto faculty member. The foundation provides clothing
and other essentials to the homeless and the extremely poor, especially
during the holiday season. The game's results don't "count," i.e., the
outcome isn't included in each team's record and each player's perfor-
mance isn't included in his season statistics.
