Elijah Allen made 7 of 11 shots from the field and had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and DeSales used a big third quarter to beat host St. Charles last night to take over first place in the Central Catholic League.

Alex Kellogg had 13 points and 14 rebounds for the Stallions (7-4, 4-0), who outscored the Cardinals 22-8 in the third quarter to take a 50-29 lead.

Rob Gruenwald scored 13 points for St. Charles (8-4, 3-1).
