FINAL SCORE

42 54
    [while the 2003-04 season ended
with a disappointing loss to rival
    WHS, the disappointments are far
    outweighed by DHS's accomplish-
    ments: (1) a second-place finish
    in the Central Catholic League
    that provides next year's team
with the opportunity to be the
first in school history to finish
first or second in the League for
    three consecutive seasons; (2) 17
victories, a total that was equaled
or exceeded only 4 times in the
previous 42 years of DHS varsity
    basketball; and (3) advancing to
    the District Championship game
for just the fifth time in school
    history -- Congratulations to
    Coach Dan Garrick, Coach Chris
    Savage, Coach Kevin Eckenrode,
and all the varsity players on
    their very successful and
    memorable season!]
