Fantastic first quarter helps DeSales grab CCL win at Ready

David Shelby scored 20 points and Charles White had 12, including nine in the first quarter, as visiting DeSales used a quick start to beat Ready 79-60 last night in the Central Catholic League.

Ron Smith added 11 points for the Stallions (13-3, 7-1), who led 21-9 after one quarter and 39-20 at halftime.

Casey Brown scored 16 points and Sonny Stattmiller had 13 for Ready (8-8, 3-5).
