DESALES USES HOT HAND TO SURPRISE WATTERSON

Nathan Frost scored 16 points to lead four DeSales players in double figures as the Stallions upset host Watterson 67-59 in the Central Catholic League last night despite making just 10 of 21 free throws in the fourth quarter.

In all, DeSales (9-6, 4-5) was just 14 of 28 from the line but was 22 of 43 from the field, with nine three-pointers. Tony Borghese added 15 points, Russ Keller 14 and Mike Love 12.

Andrew Lloyd scored 14 points and Jack Swartz 13 to lead Watterson (10-6, 7-1).
