The Blackwell is conveniently located on the Fisher College of Business campus of The Ohio State University and close to the city's arts, entertainment, sports, and business centers. The Blackwell is an upscale hotel featuring the very best in guest service and comfort, and the highest levels of technology and resources. The conference rate is $133 U.S. per room (1 King or 2 Double Beds), plus tax. In order to receive the group rate, you must make your reservation by Tuesday, October 5, 2010. After this date, reservations will be accepted based on room availability and the group rate may no longer be available. Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 12:00pm. Requests for early check in and late check out are based upon availability and may have an additional charge.

All travel and lodging reservations and payment are by your own arrangement. To make your hotel reservation on-line, go to the Blackwell’s website http://www.theblackwell.com/, select the "attend an event" link and complete the form provided. Enter "Workplace Commitments Conference" in the "Group Name:" box to receive the conference rate. Alternatively, you may call 614.247.4000 or toll free 866.247.4003. Again here, you will need to provide the name of the conference (Workplace Commitments Conference) to receive the group rate. Unused reservations must be canceled prior to 4:00 pm the day before scheduled arrival to avoid being charged for one night’s room and tax.

Ground Transportation

The Blackwell provides pre-arranged airport transportation (based on availability) to and from the Port Columbus International Airport for its guests ($10 each way per guest room reservation). Contact the hotel at 614-247-4050 or 866-247-4003 to schedule your airport transportation (48 hours prior notification is required).  You will need your flight and arrival time information to make this reservation. You are encouraged to make your hotel shuttle reservations when you make your hotel reservation or as far in advance as possible as space is limited.
