1. The object function is a mathematical expression for what we are trying to accomplish. This expression will always start with either "maximize" or "minimize" and be followed by a linear expression in terms of the variables. The objective function takes the following form:
where the coefficient (Coef.) is a real number and it is followed by the variable name (Var.).
