Not only will you have numerous opportunities to gain international exposure at Fisher, but the MBA program's global nature will be a part of nearly everything you do, whether interacting with diverse faculty and classmates, participating in field study trips, studying abroad, or networking with Fisher's global alumni.

Fisher hosts its very own Office of International  Programs and has been awarded the prestigious CIBER grant, awarded to only 31 business colleges in the United States. CIBER links the manpower and technological needs of the U.S. business community with the international education, language training, and research capacities of universities across the country.

Classroom To Real World
In addition to global business case studies, field study trips, or studying abroad with one of our numerous and prestigious exchange partners around the globe, our MBA students take classroom projects global, as well.

A perfect example is the Business Solutions Team Project, a project led by Fisher MBAs and local experts to help Ethiopia face the daunting challenges in the global crop export market.

Students worked on the project challenges in class by conducting research on the country's market position and competitive environment; visited agriculture production and retailing facilities in Ohio; and ultimately flew to Ethiopia along with experts from Ohio State's Technology, Licensing and Commercialization office.

Meeting with key Ethiopian business and government stakeholders, our MBAs had access to invaluable primary resources and were able to develop and present their findings and key insights. This project is just one example of how course work at Fisher fosters a student's ability to assess a business's or country's competitive strategy and to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams across borders.

Distinguished International Speaker Series
The International Programs office organizes a series of international speaker luncheons throughout the academic year. The luncheons allow MBAs to have close contact with speakers from diverse nationalities. Past speakers have included international business executives, world-renowned economists, and high-level politicians who are responsible for economic policy around the world.

Worldwide Alumni Network
Once you join the Fisher community, you will be part of our worldwide alumni network, spanning over 80 countries around the globe. This is a very unique and exciting way that global opportunities will open up for you here at Fisher, as many of our graduates are very loyal and closely connected to the Fisher community for life.

"My experiences with Fisher's Emerging Markets Field Study have been life changing, both personally and professionally. Entering the program as a part-time student, I was determined to take advantage of the best opportunities the program had to offer, and EMFS was clearly one of them."
