International Student Exchange

Pay tuition here but attend one of Fisher's 20 partner schools located around the globe. Fisher College students have the opportunity to experience different cultures and learn more about global business by studying overseas at one of Fisher's partner schools - all of which are highly ranked schools located in Australia, Europe, Asia, Canada, and Latin America.

Fisher undergraduates looking for a summer exchange program can also learn about Nantes Summer Exchange.

Australia Summer Internship Program

Gain internship experience while earning 1.5 credits in the new Australia Summer Program. This eight week offering places Fisher undergraduates in an unpaid internship with a multinational corporation located in Sydney, Australia while participating in coursework for one of the following Fisher courses:

  • Course 1:  International Business (BUSMHR 2000, 1.5 semester credits)
  • OR (can only take one course)
  • Course 2:  Global Marketing (BUSML 4253, 1.5 semester credits) 
Hong Kong Summer Internship Program

Work for a company abroad while earning course credits in the Hong Kong Summer Internship Program. This six-week program allows Fisher students to earn up to 6 course credits while working in an internship with a company in the Asian business hub of Hong Kong. Courses offered include:

  • Course 1: International Marketing (BUSML 4254)
  • OR
  • Course 2: Building a Sustainable Supply Chain (BUSML 4385)
New Zealand Summer Internship Program (NEW)

Gain valuable experience working for a company abroad while earning course credits in the New Zealand Summer Internship Program. This eight-week program allows Fisher students to earn up to 1.5 semester credits while working in an unpaid internship with a company in Auckland, New Zealand.  Courses offered include:

  • Course 1:  International Business (BUSMHR 2000, 1.5 semester credits)
  • OR (can only take one course)
  • Course 2:  International Marketing (BUSML 4254, 1.5 semester credits) 
Emerging Markets Field Study – Panama

The Undergraduate EMFS course (BUSADM 4798) gives students the opportunity to learn about businesses in emerging markets, and experience their operations and challenges first-hand. The four credit course is taken in Autumn Quarter with students traveling to Panama in December.

Green Business – Costa Rica

The Green Business Course gives students the opportunity to gain in-country international experience with a blend of academic, corporate and cultural experiences. The course explores the concepts and principles of "Green Business" in Costa Rica after which students travel to Costa Rica over Spring Break to see "Green Business" in action.

OSU Study Abroad

Ohio State's Office of International Affairs offers more than 100 study abroad programs in over 40 countries. Students can choose short-term study abroad programs in conjunction with academic seminars or semester to year-long experiences that focus on broadening students' cultural understanding and language competency.

Nantes, France Summer Program

Launched in 1980, the Nantes Summer Program is a six-week program designed for business students to study the European Union and the business environment of Europe, as well as learn a bit of French in the process.
