2009 Nationwide Fisher Biz Quiz

with The Wall Street Journal

Fisher College of Business hosted the 4th Nationwide/Fisher Biz Quiz on the weekend of November 6, 7 and 8, 2009. Students from 18 universities and colleges from around the United States traveled to Columbus to participate in a challenging academic competition.

This competition is the only one of its kind in the nation designed to showcase the business acumen of top undergraduate business students from the participating schools.

This unique event is sponsored with the generous support of Nationwide's Financial Leadership Rotation Program in partnership with The Wall Street Journal.

Student teams of three undergraduates will be asked questions from articles appearing in The Wall Street Journal six weeks prior to the competition. The competition will include individual rounds, team preliminary rounds, team semifinals and the grand finale which is moderated by Krishnan Anantharaman, from The Wall Street Journal. The successful teams and individuals will receive financial awards as well as the opportunity to interview for summer internships with Nationwide’s Finance Leadership Rotation Program.

The Fisher Undergraduate Business Council serve as volunteers and hosts during the weekend competition. We are excited to play a key role in encouraging students to be more aware of the business issues in the world around them.
