Honors General Education Courses
Honors courses are taught by faculty who are recognized scholars and scientists. Each year close to 500 sections of honors courses are offered to undergraduate honors students. Enrollment in honors courses averages between 18-20 students and is typically capped at 30 students. Honors classrooms give students the opportunity to discuss topics and investigate problems and ideas in depth.

A detailed outline of General Education courses for business students.
Honors students must complete at least three honors (or enriched) courses in each yearof enrollment during the freshman and sophomore years. Enriched courses are upper division classes (4000 or 5000 level) that may be used to fulfill General Education requirements.
Students should check with their honors advisor in order to obtain approval for use of upper division courses for Gen Ed requirements. Honors courses may be selected from any Gen Ed category and should be selected based on your interest in the subject. Both academic challenge and program of study should guide students in making choices.
