MAcc Council

The MAcc Council is an organization that hosts community service, professional, and social events for Masters of Accounting students. Through the MAcc Council, students have the opportunity to volunteer their time to make a difference in the community, network with practicing professionals, and interact with fellow MAcc students at social events.

The MAcc Council participates in multiple volunteer events such as OSU"s Dump and Run and Trick or Treat Canned Food Drive for the Mid Ohio Food Bank. Currently, the MAcc Council is coordinating The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, in which students prepare income tax returns for low-income taxpayers to ensure that these taxpayers receive their appropriate tax refunds. Learn more about the VITA program. In addition, the MAcc Council brings in several professional speakers throughout the year and hosts social events.
