MAX In Action

MAX In Action is a fun, informal, broad-based recognition program allowing fellow staff, faculty and students to nominate staff members for going “above and beyond” their formal job responsibilities. MAX In Action will be recognized on a quarterly basis. Examples of reasons to nominate a Fisher staff member for MAX In Action include, but are not limited to:

• Noticing a colleague giving directions to a Fisher guest/visitor and then taking the time to walk the guest to their destination
• Acknowledging a co-worker who always brings a positive, friendly attitude to the workplace
• Identifying that a particular colleague consistently extends a helping hand and willingly collaborates on many projects
• Noticing that a co-worker went out of her way to be proactive in gathering information and/or data needed for someone else's project
• Recognizing a colleague who consistently acknowledges co-worker birthdays and special events which adds a fun and social aspect to the workplace
• Acknowledging that a co-worker is consistently dependable and reliable when projects need to be completed within sensitive deadlines

To recognize a staff member, please complete the online form. A Fisher login is required to access the form, in order to confirm the integrity of all nominations.

MAX In Action recipients will receive an e-certificate with the recognition information and their supervisor will be copied. Nominees will also be publicized on the MAX In Action Nominees page.

All recipients for the quarter and a randomly selected winner(s) of a gift card will be listed in the quarterly FisherNews edition. If selected as the recipient(s) of the gift card, that staff member becomes ineligible to win for the remainder of the year.
