Coykendale MAX Staff Leadership Award

The Coykendale MAX Staff Leadership Award is an annual award that allows the college to
recognize staff members who exhibit all the values of the Max M. Fisher College of Business on a regular basis. Faculty, staff and students can nominate individuals for the award by completing the nomination form.

The nomination period for the 2012 award closes January 25, 2013.

Recipients will be awarded with a certificate and $500 at a spring semester staff meeting. Recipients will also be asked to provide information that will be used to announce their recognition in Fisher electronic publications, and will be listed on the Coykendale MAX Staff Award Recipients page.

Criteria:

The faculty, staff member or student submitting the nomination should provide written examples of how the nominee consistently shows Fisher College of Business values in action and their exemplary performance.

Eligibility:
  • Any Fisher College of Business staff full-time or part-time member with at least two years of service is eligible to receive the MAX Staff Leadership Award. (Years of service will be determined by the staff member’s start date at Fisher.)
  • Students and faculty are not eligible for this recognition.
  • Faculty, staff and students can nominate a Fisher College of Business staff member for the award.
  • A single person or a team can nominate an individual.
  • Preference will be given to those who receive a “beyond” MAX performance management rating for the last two years.
Frequency:

One MAX Staff Leadership Award will be awarded each year.

Selection:

With the support of the Dean and the Fisher human resources office, a SAC recognition committee will select the Coykendale MAX Staff Leadership Award winner each year. The award winner from the previous year will also be a part of the selection committee.

Committee members will fill out review sheets for each nominee. Once the review sheets are filled out, the committee will meet to review all nominations. The completed review sheets will be kept by the staff recognition committee.
