FSLOT - Computer Training
The mission of the Computer Training subcommittee is to contribute to the professional development environment at Fisher by helping staff members get the computer knowledge and training they want and need.
The committee has defined “computer training” broadly and includes:
- Wanting to improve your skills in one program of the Microsoft Office Suite --you have good introductory knowledge but want to take it to the next level (for example, you know Excel but you want to know more about pivot tables) or you would like to know additional features of Outlook Mail or Calendar or how to use your Contacts well (i.e. you want to know how to do a mail merge in Outlook from an Excel spreadsheet)
- You would like someone to show you how to get started with learning a program and provide ideas (such as tutorials) to learn the software
- Or any other computer based issue or need
