Fisher College of Business

Educational Technologies

Whether you want to explore a new technology in the classroom, connect with an expert in another country, or take your course online, Educational Technologies (Ed Tech) is the place where you can get creative and expert support.

Ed Tech is a support department within the Fisher College of Business to support faculty and staff in efforts of education, promotion and outreach.

The areas of responsibility in the college for the Ed Tech department are:

Classroom Support

Design, support, and maintenance of classroom technologies, including training in the use of these technologies.

Video Conferencing

Coordination and operational support for videoconference connections to regional campuses with the ability to connect to just about anywhere in the world.

Streaming Media

Assistance with and production of web-based streaming audio/visual materials.

Online Learning

Support, coordination and training on Carmen and other distance learning technologies.

Whether you are considering an innovative idea or initiating a new project or even expanding into a new area of an old technology, consulting with the staff in Ed Tech as soon as possible is always the best idea. Facility and staffing availability are the two biggest factors to your project’s success. Starting well in advance is always the best practice when you are considering a new initiative in the area of technology.

We invite you to review the Ed Tech web site to find what we hope will be useful information that will help you use Fisher facilities or start on a new educational endeavor. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact a member of the Ed Tech staff and we’ll work to answer your question or find the solution you’re looking for.
