Scantron Scanner

The Scantron scanner was purchased to allow Fisher faculty and staff to use scan sheets for exams and testing. The scanner station consists of a computer, Scantron scanner, and printer. The scan station is under the control of Classroom Technology & Distance Learning Operations and is currently located in FI026. Primary support for the Scantron scanner is provided by CTDLO staff.

The computer attached to the Scantron scanner is setup to only allow authorized individuals to log into the computer and use the scanner. Individuals that require access are assigned to a special security group. Only individuals in this security group can log into the computer. Requests to grant individuals access to the scanner station are only accepted from CTDLO staff or directly from an academic units' administrative staff (i.e. the department chair or administrative assistant). Access is typically restricted to only Fisher faculty, staff, and PhD students teaching class during the current quarter.

Misuse of, or illegal access to, the Scantron scanner station may be in violation of FERPA laws.
