Assistant Professor of Marketing
Professor Deng's research focuses on consumer responses to visual designs of product and packaging, consumer co-design and co-creation in the context of mass customization and consumer aesthetics. Her research on packaging design has been published in the Journal of Marketing Research and appeared in the popular press (New York Times) and broadcast (PBS). She has co-authored a chapter in a forthcoming book entitled "Consumer Responses to Visual Packaging Cues: A Strategic Framework," in Sensory Marketing (New York: LEA/Psychology Press).
