Biography

Professor Heneman has been quoted in Money, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and other national media on the topic of reward systems. A well-known public speaker, he has worked with business organizations and universities in worldwide.

His research has been funded by the Society for Human Resource Management, Work in America Institute, AT & T Foundation, Ford Motor Company, American Compensation Association, State of Ohio and Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Heneman is the author or editor of Business-Driven Compensation Policies, Human Resources Management in Virtual Organizations, Merit Pay, Staffing Organizations, plus numerous articles and chapters. His research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology and Academy of Management Executive.

He serves on the editorial boards of several professional journals and is the founding editor of the International Journal of Human Resource Management. He has consulted with many private and public sector organizations including IBM, Bank One, Time Warner, Whirlpool, Nationwide Insurance, The Limited, Quantum, the State of Ohio and the U.S. Government Office of Personnel Management.
