Biography
George Pinteris, clinical assistant professor, served since 2006 as academic director of Master of Science in Finance at the University of Illinois, where he advised 132 full-time students and implemented an innovative, team-based entry-term curriculum.
He has taught courses in corporate finance at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Pinteris was highly involved in establishing and participating in student academic challenges, including the annual James A. Gentry Case Competition in Corporate Finance and the MSF Investment Challenge.
In addition, he initiated corporate partnerships, post-summer technical training and helped to raise the total number of enrolled students by 45 percent. Pinteris received a PhD and MS in Economics from the University of Illinois.
