Biography

Professor Oglevee teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in venture capital, private equity, financial modeling, corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, futures and options, investments and personal finance. He also teaches graduate preparation seminars for consulting and Wall Street case interviews.

Professor Oglevee received Fisher College's 2005 Undergraduate Teaching Award for Faculty Excellence in major courses. He is the faculty advisor for the consulting club, buckeye capital investors and various case competition teams.

Prior to teaching, Mr. Oglevee was an entrepreneur within the wireless sector and spent three years in venture capital and nine years on Wall Street. He consults regularly with early stage management teams on financing, valuation and business plan development to assist companies in becoming "Venture Ready."
