Biography

As an attorney and management professional, Nancy Lahmers has nearly 30 years of legal and business leadership in education, manufacturing, agriculture and service industries. She serves as director of women's leadership initiatives for Fisher College of Business' Center for Operational Excellence (COE). She is a Senior Lecturer teaching business law in the MBA program and is the coordinator for the undergraduate honors cohort.

She has also taught management classes at University of Akron's College of Business, and in the MBA program at Webster University where she also served as regional campus director.

Prior to her employment at Fisher, she served as legal counsel for national corporate manufacturing and service clients. She also held labor relations management positions at Rubbermaid, Inc., Firestone Tire & Rubber Company and Sylvan Foods, Inc.

Ms. Lahmers is a frequent presenter at development workshops and professional women's groups around the country. In 2006, she was awarded Fisher's Undergraduate Program Teaching Award and Webster University's Academic Excellence Award in 1999. She has served numerous academic, non profit and community organizations including her present position as a Junior Achievement of Central Ohio Board Member.
