Biography
Before joining Fisher in 2006, Professor Zhang earned her Ph.D. degree in accounting and taught financial accounting at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include accounting regulation, accounting choices, capital market, management disclosure and corporate risk management behavior.
Professor Zhang is particularly interested in how capital market uses accounting information and how accounting choices affects firms’ investment and production decision. Her dissertation examines the effect of accounting treatment for derivative instruments on corporate risk management behavior.
