Biography

Professor Bozanic joined Fisher College of Business as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Management Information Systems in 2011.  He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from The Pennsylvania State University.  He also holds an M.A. degree in Economics from The University of Michigan and a B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley.  Prior to his doctoral work, he worked for Wells Fargo as an internal financial consultant and product manager in San Francisco.

Professor Bozanic has taught introductory financial and managerial accounting, as well as intermediate financial accounting.  His primary research interests are in the areas of debt contracting, focusing on the role of accounting information in debt contracts, and corporate disclosure, especially as related to linguistic and latent content analyses of disclosure.
