Business Honors Learning Community

Benefits to Students

Students participating in the Business Honors Learning Community will belong to a community which fosters team building, educational advancement, and practical experience through service learning and leadership initiatives. The Learning Community will also include:

  • Ability to take clustered class(es) with other BHLC members
  • Opportunity to live with other BHLC students in same wing/floor of an honors residence hall
  • Significant interaction with faculty, staff, and business executives
  • Participation in service-learning initiatives
  • Mentoring received from upper class honors students and the opportunity to mentor future honors BHLC students.
  • Opportunity to develop leadership skills
  • Academic advising hours in the residence hall
  • Ability to participate in special projects (executive lunches, career networking) not available to all 1st year students
