Prospective Joint Program Students
BSBA/MAcc
Purpose and Rationale
The purpose of combined programs is to give outstanding students an opportunity to pursue simultaneously two degrees in different programs by reducing the amount of time normally required to complete both sets of degree requirements (Graduate School Handbook Section 10-1-2). Admission to a combined Graduate/Undergraduate program requires the approval of the Graduate Studies Committee Chairperson of the graduate program and an official of the undergraduate college (usually an Assistant or Associate Dean).
Procedures
Applicants for the BSBA/MAcc combined program are limited to current undergraduate accounting and finance majors in the Fisher College of Business. Cumulative GPA at time of application must be at least 3.5. Student should submit his/her application to the BSBA/MAcc program during his/her junior year at Ohio State.
For questions on the Combined BSBA/MAcc Program requirements, please make an appointment to speak with Rob Chabot, Associate Director - Fisher College of Business Graduate Programs Office, 100 Gerlach Hall / 614 292 8511. We recommend you see the Associate Director no later than your sophomore year.
