Learning From Experts - Executive MBA
The success of Fisher College programs rests on the strength of its faculty. The Executive MBA courses are taught by experienced faculty who are accomplished educators, researchers and consultants. Their knowledge of business management principles, understanding of current business issues and ability to apply that knowledge in the classroom create a stimulating and challenging educational experience. In addition to being benefactors of expert research and knowledge, Fisher faculty are very accessible to students and often engage in discussion and collaboration with them outside of the classroom.
The College retains more than 20 funded chairs and professorships that support expert researchers and educators in their fields. Fisher faculty serve on a number of editorial boards, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Location Science and the International Journal of Logistics Management, all of which are housed at the Fisher College.
The College’s eight research groups support the development of teaching and research spearheaded by Fisher faculty, and provide a forum for exchange between the academic and corporate communities. Among them, Fisher’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) is one of only 27 such centers in the nation designated by the U.S. Department of Education as a national resource center for the advancement of international business education and research.
In recent years, U.S. News & World Report and other academic surveys have placed Fisher accounting, finance, operations/production and real estate programs among the top ten in the nation. Fisher faculty...impressive.
