International Experience - Executive MBA
Students participate in a global immersion experience, as a required part of the International Business course curriculum, by visiting organizations abroad to gain first-hand knowledge of operations in the global marketplace. The exact week of travel is announced early in the program, but the trip takes place during January of your second year. The destination is determined by the International Business course instructor and the EMBA program. Students have the opportunity to plan a site visit on their own, to tailor the experience to their own interests and needs.
Past cohorts have traveled to Hong Kong, China and Japan. The most recent cohort traveled to Shanghai, Hong Kong and Zhongshan, with an optional excursion to Beijing. During the week abroad, students are hosted at a variety of site visits across different industries. The trip includes meetings and seminars with business leaders, and provides insights on culture and society.
The cost of the international experience is not included in the tuition. For more information, please contact us.
