Financial Aid - Executive MBA

Information on financial aid can be found on the web site of The Office of Student Financial Aid. (www.sfa.osu.edu)

A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed for each academic year to begin the process of applying for loans. The Ohio State University's academic year for financial aid is Summer through Spring. EMBA students begin Winter quarter, so your first academic year is Winter and Spring. Your second academic year is Autumn, Winter, and Spring.

You cannot apply for financial aid until you are an admitted student by the university. But for each academic year, students are generally eligible to apply for these loans and amounts:

· Subsidized (need-based) - no interest accrues while in school at least half time - $8500 max per academic year

· Unsubsidized (cost-based) - interest accrues while in school - $10,000 max per academic year

· Graduate PLUS loans – interest accrues while in school – credit based - max per academic year is equal to your cost of attendance minus other financial aid

Additional alternative loans are also available and information on these is available from the office of Student Financial Aid.

If you are considering financial aid and would like additional information please contact the EMBA program office.
