International Applicants - Executive MBA
International applicants follow the same process as Domestic Applicants. Please make note of these additional requirements.
1. Foreign Transcripts
Applicants submitting transcripts from foreign institutions must provide official transcripts (originator certified) of all post secondary academic coursework and a certified English translation of their credentials, if the originals are not in English.(Certification must be obtained from a university/school official, embassy official, the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Certification by a notary public 18 is not acceptable.) Please contact Mara Mckee for more information.
2. English Proficiency
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Candidates whose native language is not English must demonstrate fluency in English by taking the TOEFL. If you hold a bachelor’s or graduate degree from a U.S. institution or from an institution in another English-only speaking country, you may receive a waiver of the TOEFL. Information concerning the TOEFL is available at www.toefl.org.
Fisher College does accept Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) in lieu of TOEFL.
Applicants who are citizens of, or who have received a bachelor’s degree or higher in, one of the following countries are exempt from the TOEFL requirement: Anguilla, Antigua, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Caicos Islands, Canada (except Quebec), Cayman Islands, Dominica, England, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, Montserrat, New Zealand, Scotland, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks, United States, and Wales.
Applicants required to submit TOEFL must do so before their applications will be reviewed for admission. We do not conditionally admit applicants who have not met the requirement for English proficiency.
Minimum Acceptable Scores
TOEFL: 600 paper-based; 250 computer-based
MELAB: 86 (Primarily given only in U.S.A. and Canada.)
IELTS: 8
