General Business Major Curriculum


Major Requirements

Completion of the BSBA in General Business requires three interrelated blocks of courses totaling 196 hours, or 186 hours for students admitted to the University SU 07 or later. The three blocks of courses include general education and required non-business courses, the business core and the General Business Major courses.

General Education and Required Non-Business Courses

General education and required non-business courses are generally taken in your first and second years and provide a broad foundation in the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics. In addition, the BSBA degree requires work in disciplines including mathematics, economics, accounting, statistics and computer science. The regional campuses offer these required classes through traditional classroom instruction where you may also complete your electives.
