SAMMY CASHIOLA: Born on September 3, 1985, Samuel Anthony Cashiola is a Houston, Texas native. His interest in financial markets began at the age of 13 through the encouragement of his father. Through internships at Main Street Capital Corporation, specifically for the Main Streeet Mezzanine Fund, LP, and First Houston Capital, Inc., a Houston-based investment advisory for high-net worth individuals, he realized his hobby would eventually lead to a life-long commitment to research, learning and application. His passion for understanding markets led him to pursue an undergraduate Analytical Finance degree at the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Accountancy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Samuel is currently employed by UBS Financial Services, Inc. in Winston-Salem. His long term goals include working capital markets in Latin America and managing an emerging markets mutual fund. |

MATT MAHON: Matt is a senior Finance major from Edina, Minnesota and a returning member of last year’s Biz Quiz team. His interests include finance, history and fly fishing. |

DANNY VERWHOLT: Danny is a junior finance major at Wake Forest University. He is the chronicler of the Wake Forest chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, as well as being involved with PREPARE, and tutoring Math and Italian. Danny is from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where he enjoys reading, movies, and going to the beach. He has one brother, Andy, who is studying law in Boston, as well as a dog named Rudy. Danny originally came to Wake Forest wanting to study international relations, however decided to become a finance major after competing in an accounting competition. An additional interesting fact is that Danny lived in Germany for four years when he was younger. |
