To declare a Special Area specialization, students must:
- Choose 20-25 hours of coursework that together have a cohesive business theme.
- Have the approval of a full-time counselor, the Assoc. Director for Student Services or Director
This specialization is often used by those students who have particular career goals that cannot be met by another specialization. Some examples are:
- Arts Management
- Small Business
- Personal Finance
- Accounting and MIS
- Materials Management
- Real Estate/Finance
- Business Law
Interested students should be directed to the Associate Director for Student Services.
