This page is intended as a mobile resource for critical information for your travel, stay and competition experience. Please see below for important announcements and use the ‘Resource’ box at the top right of this page to download the following documents: Directions to the Blackwell, Big 10 MBA Case Competition Rules, Big 10 Student Agenda and Big 10 Advisor Agenda.
Announcements & Pointers:
- Accommodations. Teams and advisors will stay at the Blackwell Hotel & Conference Center, located on the Fisher College of Business campus. All guests will need to leave a credit card number at the front desk upon check-in to cover any incidental expenses they may incur. For those who have reserved additional rooms or extended stays beyond their team allotment, payment will be collected directly upon checkout.
- Registration. Team registration is required and will occur on Thursday night upon arrival at the welcome reception in Ohio Stadium. A Fisher student host will greet teams at the Blackwell at 6:00 P.M. and provide a brief campus tour before escorting the team to the Stadium.
- Team photos. A photographer will be present to ensure that each school has media photos available from the competition. Photo sessions will take place Saturday morning. To accommodate all teams in a fair and orderly fashion, photo sessions have been paired with presentation times to coincide with each team’s downtime. Teams will learn their assigned photo session time when they receive their presentation room and time (upon delivery of their team CD Saturday morning). Weather permitting, photos will be shot outside in the Fisher quad.
- Fisher network access. Students will have access to Fisher’s networks Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th. Fisher IT Services will be available on Friday morning from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. for troubleshooting and assistance connecting to both:
- Fisher wireless-Please visit the Big 10 Guest WiFi Access page for instructions on configuring your laptop.
- Fixed network connection-Please bring an Ethernet cable if you wish to connect to the Fisher fixed network. Access will be available from each team’s breakout room.
- Printing. Teams will have access to the Gerlach computer lab for printing needs.
- Hotel internet access. Participants are encouraged to bring an Ethernet cable to connect to the Blackwell’s network during their stay. Please note that Blackwell's network is managed independently from Fisher’s network and access to one does not provide access to the other.
