The Graduate Programs Office Team

David Smith - Executive Director of the Graduate Programs Office

Supervises the administration of graduate business programs including Full Time MBA, MBA for Working Professionals, MLHR, MBLE, MAcc and PhD. Administrative and oversight responsibilities include recruiting, admissions, student services, academic affairs and data reporting.

Rob Chabot - Associate Director

Oversees the recruiting, application and admissions functions for the Master of Accounting (“MAcc”) and Master of Labor & Human Resources (“MLHR”) programs. Also supervises the application process for the PhD programs.

Tim Elgin - Admissions Coordinator
Coordinates the application process for the MBA programs; this includes processing applications and other documents, responding to inquiries from prospects, applicants and staff, serving as the contact with other university offices on application-related issues and providing admissions statistics upon request.
Misty Little - Advisor/ Coordinator, PhD, MAcc, MLHR, MBLE Programs
Works with students on academic and program-related extracurricular issues; works with other offices in the university to help students with university policies and coordinates various events for the programs. Is an alumnus of the Fisher College of Business.
Alisa McMahon - Information Associate
Serves as initial point of contact to MBA, MLHR, MAcc, MBLE and PhD current and prospective students. Provides information on academic and programmatic requirements to prospective students. Administers the reservation process for breakout rooms, and schedules appointments for the Graduate Programs office staff. Maintains Gerlach Lost and Found.

Jennifer Mercer - Advisor / Manager, MBA Full Time and Working Professional Programs

Provides academic advisement to full time and part time MBA current students. Supports students from the point of admission to completion of degree, orients them into the program, guides students through the curriculum while helping them meet the necessary degree requirements, and provides referrals to other university and college services.


Alison Merzel - Director of Recruiting and Admissions

Oversees recruiting and admissions for both the Full-Time and Working Professional MBA programs and manages the distribution of merit-based funding for the Full-Time MBA program.


Paul Proffitt - Assistant Director, Data Manager

Provides management support, data analysis and reporting for the Graduate Programs Office and other internal and external clients.


Samantha Schnitzer - Student Services Associate

Coordinates academic and other special events for all graduate programs. Manages the room scheduling process for non-course related activities. Serves as the coordinator for Washington Campus and Partners Club.


Jerri Sutton - Office Manager

Assists with day-to-day fiscal and human resources operations for GPO, MBLE, Strategic Positioning, MBA Program Director, and Fisher Professional Services Clinic.

Peg Steigerwald - Admissions Coordinator
Prospect application documentation supervisor for the MAcc, MLHR and PhD programs.
