Dave Ahnmark is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and holds an MBA from The Ohio State University and A.B. from Miami (Ohio). He has 25 years of broad-based experience in Human Resources, Business Development, Finance, and Manufacturing Operations in both union and non-union environments.
His experience includes facility start-up and has encompassed long-range strategic planning and budgeting, and all aspects of human resources, including: recruitment and hiring, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and client and community relations.
Dave is currently the Director of Resource Management for CareWorks Technologies, an information technology services consulting firm located in Dublin, Ohio. He has also worked for Owens-Corning Fiberglas, Armstrong World Industries, CompuServe, OCLC Online Computer Library Center and Compuware.
Dave has been an OSU Fisher College of Business Alumni Society Board member since 1994, and he is a frequent visitor to the Fisher College. He mentors OSU students and he speaks at central Ohio universities on a variety of topics, including: resume preparation, interviewing skills, networking, assessing job offers and negotiating skills.
Dave also serves on the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO), as the current Director of Student Services. He is the primary liaison between HRACO and the undergraduate and graduate HR students at OSU, and is particularly involved with the HRACO/OSU mentoring program that matches up HR students with HR professionals in Central Ohio. He is an instructor for the HR certification course module on Employee Relations and Labor Relations.
Dave also volunteers as a Docent at the Columbus Zoo, where you may find him near the reptiles on weekends.

Fred Andrle is host and executive producer of WOSU NPR News' daily public affairs talk program, Open Line. A Buffalo, New York, native, Fred is a graduate of Canisius College of Buffalo and he holds a master's degree in Communication from Stanford University. Fred began work for the WOSU stations on the TV side, where he produced and hosted a weekly talk show, Speakeasy. He journeyed to China to produce a documentary about Chinese artists and scholars, as well as a performance piece highlighting the Beijing Acrobatic Company which aired nationally on PBS.
Fred has hosted Open Line since 1988. The program features local, national and international guests in a call-in format that allows listeners to directly question journalists, social reformers, government officials, artists, and more.

President, Ankerman Training Solutions
Marc Ankerman has been in HR training and education field for over 24 years. Marc is currently a Professor at Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, delivering a variety of professional development courses to MBA students. He designed and created Enhancing Professional Interchange (EPI), which is a core course in the Fisher MBA curriculum. He also designed and developed the advanced professional interchange, enhancing written communication and a special PhD communication course, which is delivered at Fisher. He is also the faculty advisor for the MBA Professional Poker Club and coaches the Big 10 and International Case Competition teams at Fisher. Marc is a former Director of Training at Williams-Sonoma, Express (part of Limited Brands Inc.), Michigan National Bank and Galileo International. He specializes in the multi-unit, multi divisional retail world.
He is currently President of Ankerman Training Solutions and specializes in employee retention, assimilation and onboarding, creating customized training solutions for his clients. Alex is an Analyst in Deloitte Consulting’s Human Capital Practice, aligned with the Organization and Change service line. His current engagement is a Technology Adoption project, where 10,000 government workers will be trained in a new web-based system.
Prior to joining Deloitte in July of 2007, Alex earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. During his time at Fisher, Alex was the President of the Undergraduate Business Council, became highly involved in the early stages of the Fisher Citizenship Program and Fisher, Ink., and was a 2007 recipient of the Pace Setter Award. Alex had two internship experiences, including Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle, WA and Worthington Industries in Worthington, OH. Alex was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio but currently works out of the Deloitte’s Detroit office.

Mr. Brian Benson
Ray spent his professional career in the financing of commercial real estate. He served as President and CEO of Ohio Financial Service Corporation in Columbus that financed over $500 million in shopping centers, office buildings, apartments, etc. The company also focused on real estate and research development of consumer finances on behalf over two-hundred savings & loan associations owning OFSC. He served on several boards including the National Savings & Loan League, The National Housing Partnership and the local The Salvation Army. He is a past-President of Pacesetters of The Fisher College of Business, The University Club and The Rotary Club of Columbus and an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Columbus.
Three of his children are OSU graduates and he remains happily married to his wife Pat for 55 years.

Product Designer and Sustainability Leader, Crane Group
Kevin joined the Crane Group in 1995 as Product Designer. He has worked throughout the Crane Group on many product design teams, and has helped introduce many of the innovative products that they sell today. In 2007, Kevin took on the sustainability initiative at Crane Group and continues to work towards making the Crane Group a sustainable organization. He believes that innovation and sustainability are mutually reinforcing, and that implementing sustainability into the Crane Group culture will drive future company success.
Kevin is a graduate of The University of Kansas. He is also working on an M.B.A. from Franklin University.

Arnie Chonko currently provides Human Resources leadership for the Performance Chemical Division of OMNOVA Solutions in Fairlawn, Ohio. Previously, he served as Vice President of Human Resources for the Steel Division of Worthington Industries, Inc. and as Vice President of Human Resources for the Columbia Gas Distribution Companies. Arnie is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certified member of the Society of Human Resources Management. As a chapter member in the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) he is a mentor in the HRACO Student Mentoring Program and has been a Human Resources certification program instructor. Arnie has been a guest lecturer at The Ohio State University, Ohio University and Franklin University on various Human Resources topics and has served on the Human Resources Management Advisory Board of Franklin University. He has also served on the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Labor Advisory Committee and American Gas Association HR Policy and Compensation and Benefits Committees.
Arnie has a BSBA degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a Board and Executive Committee Member of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business Pace Setters.
Arnie has served on the Central Ohio Regional Blood Services Board since 1997. He has served as a United Way Loaned Executive and Junior Achievement Advisor.
Arnie has been married to Nancy H. Chonko since 1982 and has three daughters.

Rich has over 20 years experience producing compelling communications in all media – print, electronic and interactive. A former agency principal, his background has a unique blend of skills that include account management, advertising/marketing strategy, brand development, creative direction, graphic design, project planning & management and website/interactive development. With a proven ability to assess client needs, define project specifications, develop budgets, establish project goals and communicate objectives and tasks to project teams; Rich is responsible for business development, new business and strategic initiatives at SCG.
Rich holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Advertising Design from the Columbus College of Art & Design.

Mr. DeLeo currently serves as Director Financial Systems for Exel Supply Chain for the Americas. Exel is a division of DHL and owned by Deutsche Post World Net. As part of the DHL Solutions division, Exel Supply Chain performs contract logistics outsourced operations for customers in the automotive, healthcare, consumer, retail, chemical and electronics industries. He is responsible for all the financial systems used to run this $5B division from Canada to Argentina. This includes Oracle financials ERP and Hyperion business intelligence systems.
Mr. DeLeo has worked at Nationwide Insurance in their Agency Technology Solutions systems area. He was in the information technology group at Cardinal Health having responsibilities for their purchasing and financial systems. Prior to Cardinal he had consulted with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in their Boston and Columbus offices in the financial, government and distribution practices. He started his career as a programmer in the airlines industry.
Mr. DeLeo holds a BS in Computer Science from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a MBA in Finance and Logistics from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
He currently serves on the Fisher College of Business - Center for Business Performance Management advisory board. He holds the certification of Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. He has been President of the Fisher College of Business Alumni Society Board at The Ohio State University. He has served previously as a judge of the Big 10 Case Competition and the Fisher College of Business CIBER Case Challenge.
He, his wife and four children reside in Hilliard.
Top of pageMs. Aparna Dial Aparna Dial currently serves as the Director of Energy Services and Sustainability at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of this program area. She has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, India, an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University and an MBA from The Fisher College of Business at OSU. She has worked for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality in the Division of Surface Water (Enforcement Unit) and the Ohio EPA (Division of Air Pollution Control). Prior to working in her current capacity she was the Director of Environmental Affairs for OSU and dealt with Engineering Review of Construction Projects, Air, Water, Hazardous Waste and Asbestos issues and compliance with environmental regulations. Aparna has over 12 years of experience in the area of sustainability with direct experience in strategic planning, project management, environmental compliance and enforcement.
Mr. Jay Dial
Dr. Jay Dial is a Clinical Associate Professor of Management at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He teaches strategy and economics courses in the Full-time, Working Professional and Executive MBA programs and has been selected by students at the Outstanding Core Professor in each program on multiple occasions as well as being honored with the Fisher College’s Pace Setter Graduate Teaching Award. Dial teaches extensively in the Fisher College custom Executive Education programs and also conducts seminars nationally for business school faculty on teaching with the case method. He has published scholarly articles in the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Financial Economics and Venture Capital and is the author of numerous Harvard Business School teaching cases. Professor Dial earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and his doctorate from the Harvard Business School. Dial previously worked as a management consultant with Deloitte & Touche in Boston, focusing on corporate finance and corporate strategy and continues to work with corporate clients on contemporary strategy issues.

Neil Drobny is a business consultant who works with companies to help them improve competitive advantage through environmentally friendly business practices. He is an adjunct professor at Fisher where he teaches courses on sustainable business practices. Additionally, he serves as Executive Director of the Central Ohio Sustainability Alliance and chairs the Green Business Committee of Columbus Mayor Coleman’s Green Team.

Dr. Joseph Fiksel is Executive Director of the Center for Resilience at The Ohio State University, an interdisciplinary research center that is developing new methods and tools for modeling risk, resilience, and sustainability in complex systems. Joseph is also Principal and Co-Founder of the consulting firm Eco-Nomics LLC, and is an internationally recognized authority on sustainable business practices. He has over 20 years of experience in applied research and management consulting, specializing in environmental risk assessment, product stewardship, design for environment, and sustainability. His clients have included leading multi-national companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, electronics, defense, automotive, consumer products, glass, cement, and electric power industries. Joseph has published over 70 refereed articles and several books, and is a frequent invited speaker at business and professional conferences. His most recent book, Design for Environment: Creating Eco-Efficient Products and Processes, has been translated into Spanish and distributed worldwide. Joseph holds a B.Sc. from M.I.T., a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Stanford University, and an advanced degree in applied mathematics from La Sorbonne.

JoAnna Fu is a Senior Consultant with Ryan, Inc. (f/k/a/ Ryan & Company). Ryan is the leading tax services firm in North America, with the largest transaction tax practice in the United States and Canada. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the Firm provides a comprehensive range of state, local, federal, and international tax advisory and consulting services on a multi-jurisdictional basis, including audit defense, tax recovery, credits and incentives, tax process improvement and automation, tax appeals, and strategic planning. Ms. Fu provides state and local sales and use tax advice, training, consulting, and audit/reverse audit services to many Fortune 1000 companies within the Midwest.
Ms. Fu graduated from Fisher in 2005 with degrees in Accounting and Finance, and was a member of the Honors Contract Program, the Mitte Scholars, Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, and former leader of the DLC Leadership Conference Committee. She is also a 2004 Pace Setter Award recipient and Mitte Scholar Circle of Excellence Award recipient.

Bryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Ohio State University. After graduation, he began his professional career with GBQ Partners, a regional accounting firm located in Columbus Ohio. After two years with GBQ Partners, Bryan accepted a position with Ernst and Young in Columbus. During his three years with Ernst and Young, he obtained his CPA Certificate and was promoted to manager of audit services.
After five plus years in public accounting, Bryan joined the internal audit group of Cardinal Health, a fortune 100 company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. While at Cardinal Health, Bryan also served as a manager of merger integration and director of college relations.
Bryan was a successful leader within public accounting and at a Fortune 100 company. With each of his employers, Bryan was actively involved with student recruitment efforts and mentoring young professionals. He understands the challenges that students face, and the critical skills that graduates must have as they enter the work force. With varying experience within public accounting and industry, Bryan is uniquely qualified to identify students who will meet the cultural fit of each company.
Bryan formed the placement firm Career Max based on a desire to work with both students and professionals. The mission is twofold: To recruit high-quality students in search of career guidance, and to assist high quality companies secure the best staffing available.

Amy Gomberg is the environmental advocate at Environment Ohio. She works to advance Environment Ohio's legislative agenda and environmental programs throughout the state and on the federal level. Prior to serving in her current position, Ms. Gomberg served as director of both Ohio PIRG's Columbus Citizen Outreach Program and the Alaska Coalition of Ohio. Ms. Gomberg began her career with Green Corps, through which she worked on the New Voters Project during the 2004 elections in New Mexico and with Corporate Accountability International in Atlanta, Georgia. She received a B.A. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Wesleyan University.

Mr. Greg Grabovac
Greg Grabovac is Vice President and General Counsel of Team Fishel, a utility construction and network installation company with 31 offices in 10 states. Greg is responsible for managing Team Fishel’s legal affairs and corporate administration, including Team Fishel’s risk management and service excellence programs, and the human resource, safety and fleet departments. Prior to joining Team Fishel, Greg worked in the legal, accounting and financial planning industries where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and income tax and estate planning for entrepreneurs. Greg received his BSBA in Accounting (summa cum laude) and his Juris Doctor (with honors) from The Ohio State University. Greg is a Pace Setters board member at The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and is active in several central Ohio charities. Greg resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio, with his wife, Colleen, and their two children.

Dan Grafner is a 30 year veteran of institutional advancement postings having served four universities including over 20 years with The Ohio State University. He has also worked at Ohio Northern University in Alumni Affairs, Bowling Green University in fundraising, and as Vice President for Development and Executive Director of the University of Cincinnati Foundation. Dan currently is Senior Director of External Relations at the Fisher College of Business. He is married and has two adult children, both Buckeye grads.

David B. Greenberger is chair of the Department of Management and Human Resources at the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Greenberger is an associate professor of Management and Human Resources and has been the Academic Director of Computing and Information Technology at the Fisher College since 1992. . He received his B.A. degree from The Johns Hopkins University, both an M.S. and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was a post-doctoral research associate in organizational behavior at Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Business.
His research focuses on management issues involved in growing professional service organizations, impact of technology on alliances and virtual organizations, the role of temporary workers in organizations, time and leadership, and issues surrounding pay satisfaction. He has published extensively in such leading academic journals as The Academy of Management Journal, The Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. He is in the process of publishing, with Robert Heneman, a book entitled, “Human Resource Management in Virtual Organizations” (published by Information Age Publishing).
Dr. Greenberger was the 1995 winner of the first annual, Walter A. Ulmer Award, given by the Center for Creative Leadership for his research describing the impact of vision training on leaders. He was voted the Fisher College’s best Management and Human Resource doctoral professor in both 1995 and 1996 and received the college’s 1993 Pace Setters Service Award.
He has consulted and done executive education programs for a variety of organizations on topics including: the changing nature of the workforce, managerial imperatives in virtual organizations, mentoring, groups/teamwork, employee motivation and morale.

Prof. Hills recently retired from teaching in the Fisher College, but he continues to work part time, directing the international programs of the College. He received his BA in Economics from the College of Wooster, spent two years in the Peace Corps in Venezuela, and then returned to obtain a PhD in Industrial Relations at the University of Wisconsin. He has been at Ohio State since 1976. His emerging markets class in the Fisher MBA program has taken him to many countries around the world.

Garrett Hunt is Vice President of Business Development for the Nurse Travel Division of On Assignment (NASDAQ: ASGN), a leading provider of temporary healthcare and scientific professionals and one of Forbes’ 200 Best Small Companies in America for ten consecutive years, longer than any other company.
The Nurse Travel division is based out of Cincinnati and provides Registered Nurses to acute care hospitals for travel assignments of 4 weeks or longer, new unit openings, and interim nurse management. On Assignment differentiates itself through its ability to submit completed nurse profiles within 48 hours and have nurses working within 72 hours. On Assignment RNs average 10 years of experience and many are qualified to work as Preceptors, Nurse Managers, and house supervisors.
Mr. Hunt received his MBA from the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University. Prior to attending Fisher, he worked for about six years in sales and marketing roles for ADP and Paychex, both publicly traded companies that provide payroll and tax filing services to small business.
Mr Hunt is a native of Centerville, Ohio and received his Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Miami University (Oxford, OH).

Born and raised in Conway, SC, Professor Sharon James earned a PhD in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management at the University of Minnesota in 2007. She also earned an MBA in Finance from Washington University in 1989 and a BSBA from Florida A&M University in 1987. Professor James holds the chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation, which requires passage of three qualifying exams in succession. Her teaching area is business policy and strategy. Her research focuses on the intersection of corporate strategy and financing issues and their relative influences on firms’ strategic choices and performance. She has over 11 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity portfolio management, equity research, and investment management of value equity funds. She worked with JPMorgan Chase (successor to Chemical Banking Corp.) from 1989 to 1991, Morris Anderson & Associates from 1992 to 1996, John S. Herold, Inc. from 1996 to 1997, and Advantus Capital Management from 1998 to 2000. She is a member of the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, CFA Institute, CFA Society of Columbus, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

I received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from The Ohio State University in 1967 and joined Shell Oil Company following graduation. I held various engineering assignments with Shell in West Texas, California and Colorado. Following assignments in Shell’s Head Office, I supervised Operations in Offshore Louisiana, California and West Texas during the 1980’s. In 1995, I assumed responsibility for Shell’s upstream marketing programs and recently retired from the position of Manager, Marketing and Transportation. In the community, I was elected to the local school board in 1994 and served for a period of 12 years.
My wife, Beverly, is a retired schoolteacher and we have two children; Joshua, a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Rice University and Cecilia, a student at the University of Texas.

Interim Dean; Professor of Management & Human Resources
Stephen L. Mangum was named Interim Dean of the Max M. Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, effective October 11, 2007. Immediately prior to his appointment as Interim Dean, Dr. Mangum served for over 10 years as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Programs. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Utah. He received his PhD in economics from George Washington University.
At Ohio State, Dr. Mangum has played a critical role in the success and external recognition of Fisher’s academic programs. He has been instrumental in major Fisher initiatives such as the development of an Executive MBA track, a Master of Accounting program, a Master of Business Logistics Engineering program, and an entrepreneurship undergraduate business minor program. He has also provided leadership in the extension of Fisher’s undergraduate business degree and business minor to students at Ohio State’s four regional campuses via distance learning technology. Dr. Mangum has been actively involved in Fisher’s faculty and student recruitment activities, the establishment of a clinical faculty track and on-going curriculum development across Fisher’s academic programs.
In addition to Dr. Mangum’s administrative experience, his research addresses issues of military manpower, national training policy, returns to post-school occupational training, regional economic development, physician migration, contingent employment and poverty. He has published five books and more than 50 book chapters and articles in academic journals including the Industrial and Labor Relations Review, the Journal of Development Economics, Economic Development Quarterly and the Journal of Business Ethics.
Dr. Mangum has served as a consultant to educational institutions and non-government organizations (NGOs). He serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Manpower, and is a member of the American Economic Association, Industrial Relations Research Association, Academy of Management, and Society of Labor Economists. His involvement in international human resource development includes activities in Mauritania, Oman, Northern Ireland, India, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
During his 24 years of service to Ohio State, Dr. Mangum has received various teaching and outstanding faculty awards from the Fisher College of Business. He has served on some 20 different university committees providing guidance and leadership to various research, policy making, and fellowship granting councils. His past accomplishments include: Mayor of Gahanna for 18 years; Deputy Chief and Chief of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Civilian Conservation; Administrator of field operations, Division of Natural Areas; Park Naturalist; Superintendent of Parks for the city of Lebanon, Ohio; and 6 years in the Ohio Army Reserve National Guard E-5. He was honored with the "Legislator of the Year" Award from The League of Ohio Sportsman in 2005, with Watchdog of the Treasury Award in 2006, and with OCHLA's Nuestros Familia Award in 2007.

Mr. Jim Miller is Associate to the Dean of the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. In his role, Mr. Miller overseas the Fisher College’s Office of External Affairs and is responsible for all alumni, development, and communications activities. He also serves as Assistant Vice President for University Development.
Mr. Miller has over 20 years experience working for the Fisher College and the University. Prior to assuming his role as Associate Dean, Mr. Miller was the Fisher College’s Director of Development and played an instrumental role in the fundraising campaign to build the College’s current six building, state-of-the art $120 academic campus. Prior to joining Fisher College, Mr. Miller worked with Ohio State’s Alumni Association. Mr. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State.
Through his role as Associate to the Dean, Mr. Miller has been fortunate to help students network with alumni in hopes of helping the student find jobs. Thanks in large part to the involvement and direction of dedicated alumni, the Fisher College has helped more and more student interested in financial services to find employment with Wall Street firms. Recent graduates have been placed at distinguished firms like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, specialized boutique companies, and even Bear Stearns.

Steven P. Moore is the Founder & Fund Manager of Moore & Company Capital Management. In this position, he is responsible for managing a portfolio of almost $100mm across the Global Capital Markets with a specialty in Emerging Markets. Along with his trading responsibilities, Steven assists in institutional client relations and oversees the High Net Worth group of the firm, helping to cultivate new relationships and ensure client satisfaction. Before founding MAC CAP, Moore was a trader at Citigroup in New York.
Steven is one of the youngest fund managers globally and boasts one of the most successful track records amongst his peers. Being one of the few African-American Hedge Fund managers in the world, he strives to uphold the firm motto, “With Excellence Comes Eminence.”
Steven received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Ohio State University where he was member of the 2003 National Championship Football team and Academic All Big-Ten Conference.

Jason Mudd is a Lean Six Sigma Consultant for the IBM Integrated Supply Chain based in Research Triangle Park, NC. He is responsible for the global strategy and deployment of Lean Six Sigma Programs. He has extensive experience in procurement, contract, commodity, and supplier management, as well as, program and project management, strategy, process improvement, systems integration, application development and client consulting.
Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Mudd worked as a consultant for Accenture Consulting.
Mr. Mudd has received several professional awards and certifications. In his spare time, Mr. Mudd serves as a Big Brother and as a member of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle.
Mr. Mudd received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Economics as well as a Master of Business Administration both from The Ohio State University. He has also earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University, and he is currently pursuing a Masters Certificate in Lean Six Sigma from North Carolina State University.

Prakash R. Mulchandani is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and MIS at the Fisher College of Business. He has held this position since September, 2002.
Mr. Mulchandani has a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and worked at Dow Chemical Company for three years. In 1973, he obtained an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and started working for Rockwell International in their financial organization. After numerous assignments in Finance, Accounting, Materials/Logistics, Manufacturing and General Management, Mr. Mulchandani was named President of the Commercial Vehicles Systems Division ($3.5 billion in Revenue), from which he retired in December 2000.
In Spring 2001, Mr. Mulchandani entered the Masters in Accounting (MAcc) program at The Ohio State University, which he completed in June 2002. During this period at Ohio State, Mr. Mulchandani also taught financial accounting, managerial accounting, and an MBA elective (Implementing Corporate Strategy). He continues to teach these subjects, and the graduate level course in Managerial Accounting, as part of his responsibilities as a faculty member at the Fisher College of Business.

Carl works as an independent business consultant with companies on strategic issues, acquisitions and financial matters. In addition, he has taught in the MBA and executive education programs at The Ohio State University. Carl serves on the board of directors of Worthington Industries, Dominion Homes, Star Leasing and Stonehenge Partners, Inc. He was a partner with Arthur Andersen, and was associated with the firm for 31 years, having served as managing partner of the Columbus office and leader of consulting services for the products industry in the United States.
Carl has been involved in various community activities including The Ohio State University Pacesetters, Dean’s Advisory Council for the Fisher College of Business, The Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Upper Arlington Education Foundation, The Salesian Boys Club, First Community Village, First Community Church, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
Carl received his B.S. from The Ohio State University and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin. He is a CPA and a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Luba Osadchy, a senior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Spanish, is a dedicated and active member of the Fisher and OSU communities. Last year, Luba served as the Chair of the Dean’s Leadership Conference. She has also held executive board level roles in the Fisher Citizenship Program and the campus Panhellenic Association. Additionally, Luba was an officer of Alpha Kappa Psi national business fraternity and Vice President of Philanthropy for Pi Beta Phi, women’s sorority. Currently, Luba is a member of Fisher College’s Honors Cohort class. Her academic and community service recognition has included the Walter Rudin Junior of the Year Award in 2007 and the 2007 Fisher College Pace Setter.
Luba enjoys making a contribution to the community through her leadership and volunteer efforts with such organizations as Race for the Cure, Columbus soup kitchens, Junior Achievement and several other organizations. Along with her minor in Spanish, as a native of Kiev, Luba is also fluent in Russian. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing tennis. Luba will graduate this June, and after traveling to Ukraine for the summer, will begin her fulltime job with Procter and Gamble in their brand management department. Her long term goal is to become a successful entrepreneur and make the world a better place.

His focus is centered on Technology Adoption projects with expertise and experience in Change Leadership, Business Process Reengineering, Curriculum Design, Project Management, Organization Strategies, and Communications.
Prior to joining Deloitte in July of 2007, Tim was a four-year Mitte Scholar at The Ohio State University where he earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and Risk Management from the Fisher College of Business. He was the Chair of the Dean’s Leadership Conference in 2006 and in 2007, was a recipient of the Pace Setter Award. Tim was born and raised in Canton, Ohio but currently works out of the Deloitte’s Detroit office.

Kurt A. Pottkotter is Associate Director of Development at The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business where his responsibilities include working with current donors as well as identifying new alumni and friends whose philanthropy will support the academic mission of the Fisher College. Kurt also works closely with Ohio State’s Center for Entrepreneurship, housed in Fisher College, and the Center for Real Estate Education and Research. Kurt joined the Fisher development team in June 2005, after three years at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he served in roles with university development and the Cox School of Business. Prior to SMU, he was a member of the athletic development staff at Boston College. He holds degrees from Ohio Dominican University and Ohio University.

Cindy Ratliff is the Market Sourcing Leader for the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Market (OKI). She joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1994 and has over 14 years with the Firm and has been part of the PwC HR team holding various local, regional and national HR positions. Cindy has worked with both our Audit and Tax practices, and specialty groups within these core practices. These professionals include auditors, actuarial and benefits consultants, various tax planning consultants (state/local, personal financial planning and expatriate tax services), and Healthcare and HR consultants. Cindy is the current Sourcing Leader for the OKI Market. She is also pleased to have the privilege of serving as the lead recruiter for The Ohio State University.

Jeff Rice joined the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University as Associate to the Dean for Career Services in 1993, and was named Executive Director of Career Services in 2005. In his position, Jeff manages a career services staff consisting of eleven full-time professionals and nine graduate assistants. The Office of Career Services provides comprehensive job seeking services to 4,500 undergraduate and 650 graduate students seeking internships or full-time positions. On campus and virtual recruiting services are also provided to hundreds of corporations on an annual basis. As a member of the Dean’s management team, Jeff participates in numerous Fisher College programs and initiatives.
Prior to arriving at the Fisher College, Jeff was an Assistant Director in the career services office at the University of Notre Dame, and previously Director of Career Development at Aquinas College. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster and a Master of Arts degree from Michigan State University.
An active participant in career services nationally, Jeff has served on commissions for the National Association of Colleges and Employers, numerous committees for the MBA Career Services Council, and has served as a consultant to the recruiting organizations of several corporations. He served two terms as President of the MBA Career Services Council from 2005-2007, an international organization of over 350 professionals within either the career services function of MBA programs or the MBA recruiting function at corporations. A recognized expert in college recruiting practices, career services management, the MBA job market, and salary negotiations, Jeff has been quoted in numerous articles in Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report, and the Financial Times. He has also been a guest on the CBS Early Show and MBAPodcaster.com.
Jeff is a past member of the Board of Trustees for Easter Seals of Central and Southeast Ohio, a current Trustee of the Columbus Rotary Foundation, and serves on the Advisory Boards for MBA Focus, LLC, and the Center for International Business Education and Research at The Ohio State University.

As a Marketing Manager for Glomark-Governan, a software and business methodology training company based in Dublin, Ohio, Colin is responsible for the creation and execution of key global marketing initiatives. Colin is also responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with consultancies around the world, in an effort to expand the company’s local presence and products and services availability. In addition to his marketing functions, Colin also participates in benchmarking research initiatives, and consulting engagements with key customers.
Since his graduation, Colin has been actively involved with the Fisher College of Business, working with faculty and staff members from several departments to develop a pilot mentorship program for undergraduate business students scheduled to launch in Fall 2008. Colin also attends meetings at Fisher’s CIBER and CBPM centers, and was a former Dean’s Leadership Conference participant and committee member.

Jeff Rodek is a General Partner with Accretive LLC. Prior to Hyperion’s sale to Oracle, Jeff was the Executive Chairman of the Board and former CEO of Hyperion Solutions, Inc., the global leader in Business Performance Management software and a company named in 2004 as a Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and listed on the Forbes 200 Best Small Companies.
Rodek served as Chairman and CEO of Hyperion from October 1999 to July 2004. Under his leadership, the company experienced a tremendous turnaround, improving performance and achieving record sales. During a period of economic downturn and declining technology market, Rodek also dramatically improved the company’s operating profits, margins and the balance sheet. The final three years were especially noteworthy as a result of the consistent quarterly improvement in numerous measures, including margin and earnings per share. Over the course of his tenure, Hyperion increased customer count by fifty percent.
Rodek’s focus on the transforming power of business information began 25 years ago at FedEx, where he built a flexible budgeting system that was one of the first Executive Information Systems and a forerunner to the “dashboards” that are the face of Hyperion’s Business Performance Management solutions. Today, Rodek is a recognized expert and speaker on business performance and related topics, including corporate governance and leadership.
Prior to Hyperion, Rodek served as President and COO of Ingram Micro, the world’s largest wholesale provider of technology solutions, products and services. Before that, Rodek spent 16 years at FedEx, beginning in Operations Research and rising to the position of Senior Vice President, the Americas.
Jeff currently is a part time Senior Lecturer at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and serves on the Board of Directors of Accelrys, Inc., a public software company that develops and commercializes scientific business intelligence software for the integration, mining, analysis, modeling and simulation, management and interactive reporting of scientific data. Jeff also serves on The Ohio State University Alumni Association Board and the Dean’s Advisory Board, Fisher College of Business. He and his wife are also members of the Parent Advisory Council for the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golf and spending time with his family. Jeff graduated from The Ohio State University where he earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance.

Gables Residential Trust, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Dawn Severt is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gables Residential Trust. Gables is a multifamily real estate investment trust (REIT) whose shares were traded on the New York Stock Exchange from January 1994 through September 2005. Gables is now privately held by a closed-end fund managed by a joint venture between ING Clarion and Lehman Brothers. At December 31, 2007, Gables had a total capitalization of $2.5 billion and managed approximately 35,000 apartment homes for its owned account and third parties.
Ms. Severt is responsible for the Company’s corporate and real estate financings, investor relations, financial reporting, corporate governance, information technology, accounting and tax matters and treasury functions. In addition to her financial responsibilities, she is a member of the six-person Executive Committee of Gables. Prior to joining Gables in 1994, Ms. Severt was a Manager in the audit practice at Arthur Andersen LLP. Her seven years with the firm included audit work with SEC and real estate clients.
Ms. Severt is a Certified Public Accountant and is a summa cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in both accounting and information systems. She is an active member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) and previously served as co-chair of its Accounting Committee and as a member of its Best Financial Practices Council. In addition, Ms. Severt is a member of the Investment Committee of the National Multi Housing Council, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and The Leadership Forum, among other professional organizations. She also serves on the Board of Directors of DFB Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and as chairman of its Audit Committee.
Ms. Severt is also a member of various civic organizations, including the High Museum of Art, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Piedmont Park Conservancy, Ansley Park Civic Association and The Ohio State University Alumni Association. In addition, she is the recipient of the 2003 Young Professional Achievement Award from The Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University where she serves on its Alumni Advisory Board.

Mark Simon, a 2003 graduate of the Fisher College of Business, is an Asset Manager at Fairfield Residential, LLC in Dallas, Texas. Mark joined Fairfield in August 2005 and since joining he has assisted and contributed in the successful underwriting, marketing, and disposition of over $1.4 billion dollars of multi-family real estate, with net proceeds totaling $300 million.
Prior to joining Fairfield, Mark worked as a Corporate Planning Financial Analyst at Frito-Lay, Inc. in Dallas, Texas from 2003-2005 where he helped develop next generation pricing elasticity insights and was also a major contributor to the development of New Product Innovation.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He currently resides in his hometown of Dallas, Texas.

Denis is a high-energy executive with corporate and community relations leadership expertise. He has been is a Senior Executive Vice President with Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc for over 20 years. He is known in the industry as the go to person for professional career advice because of his straight forward and discretionary attitude.
Denis is a decorated Veteran of Southeast Asia & Former Army Captain. He is a strong believer in giving back to the community and volunteers his time as Trustee and member of the University of Dallas, as well as a member of the Board of Camp John Marc & The Family Place, and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Tejas Girl Scouts in 2005. Alongside these duties Denis serves as an ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church and serves as a confidential advisor to the Bishop of Dallas.
Married for 35 years, he is a father of five and grandfather of one. Ever the adventurer, his most recent expedition was to Antarctica which completed his quest of walking on all 7 continents. His next adventure will take place this summer as he takes on Mt. Rainier.

Press retired as a Partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 2001 after twenty-seven years at the Firm where he was a leader in the financial services industry. Press is the Executive Director of Opera Columbus and President of the Columbus Cultural Leadership Consortium. After retirement, Press was involved in community volunteer services for numerous organizations. The in 2006 he became Executive Director of Opera Columbus adding the responsibilities of President of the Columbus Cultural Leadership Consortium in 2007.
Press currently serves on the boards of the following not-for profit entities; Fisher College of Business Alumni Association at The Ohio State University, Prevent Blindness of Ohio, Opera Columbus, BalletMet, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Cultural Leadership Consortium, Ohio Citizens for the Arts, St. Charles Advisory Board, and Miranova Homeowners' Association. Abbe graduated cum laude from Denison University with a BA in Psychology and Educational Studies in 2003. After her undergraduate work, Abbe served as an Organizational Leadership Consultant for her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and traveled to over twenty-five Universities around the nation. Post Pi Phi, she traveled and lived in Europe for three months where she played water polo for the country of Sweden.
Abbe graduated in June of 2006 with her Masters of Labor and Human Resources from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. During her time at Ohio State, she worked as a Graduate Assistant Career Consultant and served as the Dean’s Leadership Conference advisor and master of ceremonies for two years. She served as the Graduate Human Resources Association President and traveled to Brazil with the Emerging Markets Field Studies course. She also spent 6 months with General Electric as an intern in their Human Resources Leadership Program with a focus on leadership development.
After graduation, Abbe joined Exel, the world’s leading Third Party Logistics Company, as an Organizational Development Specialist. The primary focus of the role was succession planning at the Executive level and below; Executive development and coaching; development and delivery of training; as well as college recruiting. In the summer of 2007, Abbe moved to the role of College Recruiting Specialist where she currently owns College Recruiting for North America. As the program manager, she oversees all College Recruiting activities including relationship building, events on campus, creation of standardized tools, organization of campus teams and providing direction for the overall strategy of the program. Abbe works out of the Americas Headquarters in Westerville, Ohio.
She continues to stay involved with Ohio State by guest speaking at Fisher Career Services events as well as serving on the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Committee as an advisor to the Vice President of Philanthropy.

For the past 19 years, Mr. Streby has been part of the Limitedbrands family, currently holding the position of Director of Logistics Operations for Personal Care Companies of Limitedbrands Inc, based in Columbus, Ohio. This role provides demand chain support to over 1800 Bath & Body Works, White Barn Candle Co., C.O. Bigelow & Henri Bendel stores from product point of origin.
Prior to assuming this role, Mike was the Senior Operations Manager leading six distribution centers for Bath & Body Works and other logistics roles serving the Lerner New York, Structure & Lane Bryant brands.
He has been an active member of Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals & has achieved his Certificate in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS.
He is a 1991 graduate of the Ohio State University, with a degree in Productions & Operations Management. He is also an active participant in the Columbus United Way organization and as a volunteer in the Gahanna Schools. He resides in Gahanna with his wife and 2 daughters.

Director of the Fisher College of Business International Programs Office/CIBER
Melissa Torres was named administrative director of the International Programs Office and Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in April 2007. Torres came to Fisher from Brown University. At Brown, she managed U.S. Department of Education programs that provided technical support to education leaders, teachers and schools across New England and New York that serve culturally and linguistically diverse students and teachers.
Prior to that, she was assistant director at the North Carolina Global Center, part of the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill. At the N.C. Global Center, her responsibilities included establishing language and culture programs for graduate students, managing corporate relations and supporting international initiatives at the business school, including international internships, recruitment and student mentorship programs. She has experience in consulting, having worked as a Change Management consultant for Andersen Consulting in Columbus and Granitar, Inc. in Massachusetts.
She holds a master’s degree in global education from Ohio State and an undergraduate degree in international studies from Stonehill College in North Easton, Mass.

C. D. Via received his MBA from The Ohio State University in 1987. He works for American Electric Power (AEP) where he began his career in 1971 after receiving his BS degree from East Tennessee State University.
C. D.'s career with AEP includes customer accounting, audit supervisor, director customer services, manager process improvements, business continuity planning coordinator, safety, and manager customer systems. He is a Certified Internal Auditor. His current position is Manager, Special Projects, in the Customer & Distribution Services Department. Current responsibilities include coordinator for Sarbanes Oxley Act controls review and privacy of information identification and protection.
C. D. has been a long time member of the Fisher College Alumni Board. Other recent community volunteer activities include the Boy Scouts of America where he held positions of assistant scoutmaster, court of honor chair, committee chair, and was Tri-Creek District Chair for two years. He was awarded the Silver Beaver award by the Simon Kenton Council in 2003.

Mr. Vogelgesang is a Managing Director, Founder and CEO of Candlewood Partners. Prior to founding Candlewood, he was a Managing Director and Principal of Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company, L.P. (BGL), a middle market investment banking firm, where he worked for seven years. He was active in the restructuring group while also completing engagements in general corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He served as Chairman of the Management Committee at BGL. Vogelgesang has structured a multitude of corporate and ESOP transactions and serves on a number of company boards. He also has direct operating experience having spent three years as a principal and the Chief Financial Officer of a hazardous waste acquisition and management company.
Prior to joining BGL, Vogelgesang spent five years as President of Colonial Capital, Inc., a NASD broker-dealer specializing in corporate development engagements for corporate and investment fund clients. Following graduate school, he worked as a banking officer with Ameritrust (now park of KeyCorp) and CitiCorp.

Nellie Debbeler

Nellie Debbeler is a senior majoring in Accounting and Physics. (She likes the challenge of physics and the practicality of business.) Nellie is has been involved with the Dean's Leadership Conference for three years now and is thrilled to see that is has been and continues to be such a success. Nellie is also a member of the Honors Accounting program and Beta Alpha Psi, and has participated in two business case competitions with Ohio State's undergraduate team. She was also a 2007 Pace Setter Award recipient. Outside of the College of Business, Nellie taught a recitation section of pre-calculus at Ohio State in the fall, and has tutored math in other quarters. Nellie plans to graduate in June 2008 with her bachelor's degrees, and will be a Masters of Accounting student at Ohio State in the fall, where she was very fortunate to win the Graduate Fellowship award. This summer, Nellie will work at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Transaction Services pratice in Detroit.

Robert Arbogast is a senior majoring in Human Resources with a minor in Economics. Next autumn Rob will be attending Cornell University to pursue a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree. Prior to graduate school he will be interning at The Dow Chemical Company in the Human Resources function. At Ohio State Rob has been involved in many extracurricular and academic activates, for example, the Honors Cohort Program, authoring an honors thesis, Ohio Union Activities Board, and intramural sports. Rob is also a 2008 Pace Setter Award Recipient.

James is a second year honors student and finance major at the Fisher College of Business and has been on the Dean’s List every quarter to date. James is in his second year as a part of the Dean’s Leadership Conference’s planning committee. He has also been selected to be a member of the 2008-2009 honors cohort program. James’ passion focuses on sustainability, which is the management of the world’s precious natural resources. To pursue his passion, James is working on an independent study with Associate Dean Rao Unnava on the sustainability challenges facing corporations today and the innovative strategies corporations are implementing to overcome these challenges. As a part of his research, James recently attended the Sustainability Manufacturing Summit held in Chicago that brought together senior executives around the world to discuss sustainability strategies such as life-cycle analysis to create value for their companies. James also provides a wealth of international travel experience with visits to China, Brazil, and eight countries in Western Europe.

Amanda Harrison is a third year marketing major from Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the DLC last year as a participant and has enjoyed working on the planning committee this year. She is actively involved in her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and holds the position of Vice President of Member Development. She will be interning for Lowe's this summer in Columbus. After graduation, Amanda hopes to move to Chicago and start her career.
Sara KinningSara Kinning is a fourth year Honors Contract student majoring in finance. She played varsity tennis for three years and during that time was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Board. She spent last autumn quarter studying abroad at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. In addition, she enjoys volunteering and has spent time in Peru assisting at a medical mission for impoverished children. Sara’s career experience includes a position in The Ohio State University’s Wheeler Internship Program, and she is looking to build upon that knowledge by working in Abbott Laboratories’ Finance Department during the upcoming summer. Next year, Sara will be in Ohio State’s Masters of Accounting Program and hopes to get a full time position with a Big Four accounting firm after graduating and obtaining her CPA.

Lauren Peterson is a third year marketing student. She currently works with Ohio State Rec Sports in the marketing department and will be traveling to Chicago this summer to intern for Nike. Lauren is the Senior Vice President of the Undergraduate Business Women's Association and very involved on campus. She will be graduating next spring and hopes to have a career in event planning.

Katherine Woodyard is a junior Finance and Real Estate major at the Fisher College of Business and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2009. She participated in the Dean's Leadership Conference in 2007 and is now on the planning committee for this year. Currently she holds the Vice President Finance position in her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta in which she has been an active member for two years. This summer, Katherine will be interning in finance for JP Morgan Chase in Columbus, Ohio. In her spare time, she likes to walk dogs at the Franklin County Dog Shelter.
