iPads in Education

Are you interested in using the iPad? Our group has worked with various individuals and groups around Fisher surrounding the iPad and we can offer training and deployment. The iPad has numerous applications in education; some of these uses are to:

• Get organized
• Create real time interaction in the classroom
• Replace printed materials
• Deploy across an entire program

Our group recently worked with the Masters of Business in Operational Excellence (MBOE) program and their iPad Initiative. MBOE transitioned all of their program materials into a digital format for the iPad, yet went beyond this transition to incorporate the iPad in the classroom and their curriculum. The Educational Technologies group can offer you numerous outlets for support. They can work with you individually to think through your specific questions, situation, and classroom. Or, if you are looking for group training, specific training for your needs and group can be designed and delivered. If you would like to deploy the iPad on a large scale, a meeting can be arranged to begin thinking through the logistics of your project.
