Lab and Classroom FAQ
Below are some of the most frequently asked questions related to labs and classrooms at Fisher College of Business. Please contact our ITS Helpdesk for any assistance.
Some items in the Fisher classrooms are readily available for use, and some items require key access. Fisher College faculty and staff may use their office keys to access key locked equipment. Faculty from outside of Fisher College may sign out a key from the ITS Helpdesk. For more information please contact the ITS Helpdesk.

Yes. Please call the ITS Helpdesk to arrange a meeting with one of our support technicians. Our staff can schedule a convenient time to review any questions on classroom equipment and demonstrate how the equipment works in your respective classroom.

Can a guest speaker use their laptop with the classroom equipment? Will my personal laptop work with the Fisher classroom equipment?
Yes. A VGA computer video cable is needed to transfer your computers image to the projection unit. A stereo mini sound cable is needed for sound. Please contact the ITS Helpdesk to schedule a technician to have these cables available for use. Arrangements can be made to borrow cables for a period of time.
Our student group needs assistance with or access to the classroom equipment in the Fisher complex. How do we get assistance?
Your faculty advisor should be able to assist your group. For assistance, please contact the ITS Helpdesk.
Please call the ITS Helpdesk. Although we try to avoid problems with constant preventative maintenance and checks, we appreciate any reports we can get about classroom equipment problems.
In Schoenbaum Hall, the janitorial staff provides the markers and erasers, and a custodial worker will be able to provide you with additional items. Please contact Building Services at 688-5587 with questions and requests.
In Gerlach Hall, the Graduate Programs Office provides the markers and erasers. You can stop by their office on the first floor of Gerlach Hall to get additional items if needed. Please contact the GPO office at 292-8511 with questions and requests.
