iTouch and iPhone
Follow these instructions to connect your iTouch or iPhone to the Fisher wireless network:
- While connected to a wireless network, launch Safari and go to http://fisher.osu.edu/computing/devices/iphone from your device.
- You will be prompted to enter your Fisher username and password in order to access this page.
- Tap on the Step 1 link and tap Install to install the profile. Once the profile is installed, tap Done .
- You have two options in Step 2. Choosing the second option, fcob-wlan.passcode.mobileconfig , is more secure and will require you to enter a passcode to reconnect to the Fisher wireless network if your device goes into sleep mode and becomes disconnected. The first option will not require a passcode. Tap on the link for the option you prefer in Step 2 and tap Install to install the profile. You will be prompted to enter your Fisher username and password. Once the profile is installed, tap Done .
- You should now be able to connect to the Fisher wireless network when you are on the Fisher campus.
- Tap on the Step 3 link only if you wish to configure synchronization between your Fisher email and your device. Do not perform Step 3 if you do not have a Fisher email account.
- Step 3 will prompt you for your email address. Enter your Fisher email address (ex: smith_1@fisher.osu.edu).
- When prompted for your username, enter your Fisher username preceeded by AD\ (ex: AD\smith_1).
- Enter your Fisher password when prompted for your password.
- You should receive a message indicating that the profile was installed. Tap Done .
- Synchronization between your Fisher email and your device will begin immediately.
