Patching and Security - Minimum Computer Standard
The OSU Office of the CIO has developed the Minimum Computer Security Standard (MCSS). Any OSU-owned or personal device that connects to the OSU Network (OSUNet), and by extension the Fisher fixed and wireless networks, must be in compliance with the MCSS. Any device found not to be compliant is subject to removal from the network.
To assist faculty, staff, and students to help determine whether their laptop or workstation is in compliance with the MCSS, Computing Services has developed a checklist.
